Travel Nursing in Arkansas, Nurses Love The Natural State

The Arkansas State Board of Nursing is in Little Rock, Ark. It is one of the nurse compact states. If you have a compact nursing license in Arkansas, you can work on that license in other compact states.

If you have a compact license from another state, you can work in Arkansas on that nursing license. This makes acquiring fast travel assignments very easy.

The website has the application, contact info, rules and regulations, nurse practice act, license renewal, license verification, continuing education, information for international nurses and educational resources.

It is a very comprehensive site that will answer most of your questions. If you find you have more you can simply contact them.

Arkansas is the only state where you can go looking for diamonds, and actually find some! The Crater of Diamonds State Park give you the chance to find, mine and keep your own diamonds.

The park also offers camping, fishing, hiking, a water park and kids activities. Along with diamonds, you may find other semi-precious stones like lamproite, amethyst, banded agate, jasper, peridot, garnet, quartz, calcite, barite and hematite.

Hot Springs National Park is also another great place to visit. While you can't actually sit in the springs at the park, there are many different bathhouses and spas available. The park has hiking, a visitor center, bathhouses, camping or you can just enjoy the scenery with a picnic.

Little Rock is the capital. There are many respected facilities to work at in Little Rock and everything you would expect is here - museums, nightlife, art galleries, great shopping and wonderful food.
